Dear Generous self,

You give freely and unconditionally. You don't even think twice, it all comes naturally. Generous self, you are caring and selfless. I sometimes mix you up with thoughtful self, but there is something different about you. You are full of spirit and you are abundance.

Generous self you nurture creativity and joy. Generous self you connect me to purpose. You teach me about service and giving back. Generous self you know a lot about letting go because you know there is more than enough to go around.

Generous self you are a team player - the mama bear. You share without looking back, its just what you do. You lend you helping hand. Generous self NATURE is your mentor.

Remember generous self that you need not be a martyr. It is okay to ask for help and to take a break. Remember to fill our own cup too. This is what self love is made of. When you are generous to yourself it is contagious and you create sancturaries in your wake.

Generous self, the thing that keeps you going is that part of you knows how to RECEIVE all that divine goodness as well. You know there is an ebb and flow to generosity.

Thank you for reminding me that I can take nothing with me when I go, but I can spread the love while I am here.

dear brave self

Dear Brave Self,

I don't give you as much credit as I should. When I see you in others it is quite obvious where you come in... so for the sake of it let's remove my name from the story...

At 14 you went on a plane by yourself to meet up with a group of people you didn't know to fly to Bolivia to train soccer for the summer. You stayed with a host family that only spoke spanish.

At 17 you went to university all the way on the other side of the united states to study (you chose environmental design/interiors with only an inkling of what you were getting yourself into).

After graduating you continued to travel internationally, something that not many around you were doing at the time. You made your way to many countries including Nicaragua and worked with an amazing crew and an amazing group of farmers to develop a master plan for a village called el eden.

Around 28 you took a 6 month leave of absence from your job (when that was not the norm) and travelled on your own Australia and New Zealand... life changing. You jumped from planes, took surfing lessons,  swam with dolphins (and you are not a great swimmer), and more on this trip.

A few years later you left a secure permanant position with the city government to move to Australia for Love.

You have married and raised your son in a different country away from family and went from career girl to full time mama and stuck in some entrepreneurial efforts on the side. You and your partner have spent half a year living on the road and travelling australia with your young son and by the end of the year you all plan to be off again...

You have done and continue to do a lots of inner work and that takes courage.

And you did all those things as what many would consider a shy and reserved soul... you are not as shy any more, but now I would say you are pretty brave!

what if there comes a point when you have to let an old version of yourself go?

a point when you may not be ready for it.

a point when you are called to grieve that self that is ready to move on before you acknowleged it even exisited, before you were aware it was time to part?

a point where you leave an open seat for the emerging + evolving self to arise.

a point when emotions you never knew existed rise.

a point where emotions you once held close release on their own.

T H I S must be the point when higher self has stepped in because it heard your call. 

this point must be true surrender because you as you know yourself is not in control of the process.

Vision: Look Beyond Perceived Limits

ABOVE (+ beyond)

In those moments when I am present with what is, not trying to change the past or rush the future, I remember to look beyond the perceived limits to the infinite sky.

This is where visions dwell.

Vision: Making a Statement

I WONDER if the vision is fueled by imagination + intention + communicated through inspired action.

VISION is the 5th Principle of Inspired Living. It is associated with the colour blue and the throat chakra. It is about communicating and voicing yourself confidently. Getting clear on what you envision by aligning  and creating a plan  of inspired action steps.

I SPEAK MY VISION.

Vision is knowing what you want. What you want to experience in life. You can look at your vision in all areas of life, apply it to your home, your business, your day, yout parenting style, you choose.

Vision is communicating consciously by being yourself without feeling a need to justify your actions.

My Vision Statement:

Creativity, Storytelling and Design as a Soulful Practice that focuses on Happiness + Wellbeing : To provide the world with access to design + visual storytelling + creative expression that supports growth and improves quality of life, so we can all thrive [live our best lives + know our soul purpose].
